Mary Remmy Njoku, a popular Nollywood actress, recently revealed a very bad situation she experienced at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos via her Instagram page. According to the CEO of ROK studios, there was no water to flush toilets at the international airport, thereby leaving the toilets full with “different layers of waste.” She posted a photo of the airport and wrote:  “Whenever I hear people talking crazy about Nigeria i dive in and defend my Fatherland. But these days, Naija Dey fall my hand! How can there be no water to flush the toilets in an International Airport? Haba! The toilets are full. Different layers of waste/tissue. No water! 13 year old Alfe Patten, a British citizen who is just four feet tall and looks even younger than his age has now become a proud father of a baby. The Mother of the baby, Chantelle Steadman is two years older than the father. Alfe was only 12 when his girlfriend who was then 14 years old conceived after a night of unprotected sex. Report says Alfe might not be the youngest father so far as Sean Stewart from Sharnbrook in England became the father of a baby boy at age 12 in 1998.

Tragedy struck the park of the Association of Maritime Truck Owners in the Berger, Mile 2 area of Lagos as a a mechanic, identified only as Oshare, reportedly stabbed his friend to death and injured several others. Rasta, Oshare's friend allegedly urinated beside a stationary truck. Oshare, reportedly challenged the deceased for messing up the spot, said to be a few steps from his shop. As Rasta tried to calm him, he reportedly slapped him, which led to a fight. The mechanic, who got so angry grabbed two bottles and stabbed the friend in the neck. He was also said to have injured some people who attempted to caution him. Rasta reportedly bled from his injuries and he was rushed to a hospital for treatment. He, however, died before he could get help. An eyewitness said "Both of them are mechanics and friends. He confronted Rasta for urinating near his shop and it led to a fight. A Kenyan young girl named Gladys Chelagat, became the youngest mother in Africa as, she gave birth at age 10. Gladys gave birth to her baby weighing 2.8kg at Kericho District Hospital in Kenya, though with the aid of a cesarean section (CS) as she was too young to have a normal delivery.‎ Doctors said that it's been close to 3 years since she gave birth and the circumstances behind this story is yet  to be ascertained. The man responsible for her pregnancy is still unknown till date. ‎ The picture of the young girl holding her baby in her arms with her innocent look is still circulating on social media with a lot of controversial opinions. While some argued that its a fallacy story, others just hope and pray she and her baby gets enough support to grow and be healthy. Apostle Thamsanqa Sambulo, a South African pastor, claimed he performed a miracle after he allegedly poured boiling water on himself and members of his church. Earlier this week, a court in Western Cairo sentenced a four-year-old boy to life in prison on various heinous charges bordering on murder, inciting riots, destruction of government property and threatening cops. The little boy, Ahmed Mansour Karni, who was born in September 2012, got the life in prison term on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, after being convicted in absentia of offenses that allegedly occurred two years ago. Although the boy was less than two years old during the civil unrest in 2014, he was convicted in absentia due to a clerical mistake and the court's incompetence. The indictment stated the charges against the youngster in full as four counts of murder, eight counts of attempted murder, vandalising property belonging to the Egyptian Health Administration in his home province of el-Fayoum, threatening soldiers and police officers and damaging vehicles belonging to security forces. A lady from Farmington, Utah, identified as Troy Walker was making dinner with church members when she discovered a very unsavoury addition to the meal, a severed snake's head. The beans came from a can of Western Family Fancy Green Beans. Initially, she thought the beans was burnt as she scooped it out of a cooker, a closer inspection revealed the gross find. A 47 year Old New Jersey man, identified as Steven Pratt have testified to killing his 64-year-old mother two days after he was released from a 30 years in prison murder sentence. On Oct. 10, 2014, Pratt was released from a New Jersey prison, where he'd spent the previous three decades for the fatal shooting of Michael Anderson. When he was 15, Anderson caught Pratt smoking marijuana with friends and confronted the boy.  During that incident, Pratt struck Anderson in the face with a lead pipe. After being hit, Anderson retreated, but hours later, Pratt knocked on his apartment's door. When he opened it, Pratt shot Anderson. Two days after completing his 30 years, Pratt repeatedly struck his mother Gwendolyn Pratt in the head the morning of Oct. 12, 2014. An Ikeja High Court on Wednesday sentenced two men — Seun Omoilodan and Gbenga Kayode – to death by hanging for robbing one Alhaji Jinadu of his mobile phones and money on November 2, 2011, as well as one Rilwan Gbadamosi and his wife, on November 9, 2011, of various items. Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye handed down the judgment after finding the two men guilty of a three-count charge of conspiracy, armed robbery and attempted robbery. She said: "The defendants are hereby convicted and sentenced to death by hanging for armed robbery. "On the third count of attempted robbery, the defendants are sentenced to life imprisonment." Counsel to Omoilodan and Kayode, Mr Damola Victor, had earlier appealed to the court to temper justice with mercy. "My Lord, kindly temper justice with mercy. A ‎47-year-old identified as Femi Kolajolu has been arrested by the officers of the Nigeria Police for allegedly raping his 15-year-old niece, eventually getting her pregnant. A mysterious creature that looks more like an animal out of a myth book rather than a real life creature was found washed ashore on the banks of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia. Ethan Tipper snapped an image of the creature before posting it online to see if anyone could identify it. The creature has a long, slender body with scales and a tail like a crocodile with no legs, a head shaped like a dolphin's and a mouth full of razor sharp teeth.

A gay man was arrested by the police on Monday, February 8, for persistently sending explicit and romantic love messages to a Kenyan journalist with the Royal Media Services, Victor Kinuthia, telling him that he is in love with his voice. 24-year-old Geoffrey Mburu had reportedly been sending romantic messages to the journalist, suggesting that he wants to have s-x with him. Following persistent explicit messaging from Mr. Mburu, despite being warned to stop, Kinuthia reported the matter to the police.
