Majid Michel: Stop calling me a Ghanaian actor

Recently at a press briefing for new movie "Amakye & Dede" Ghana's most popular actor, Michel Majid made it known to the world that he's only an actor from Ghana but not a "Ghanaian actor" as people describes him.

In his words,

" Well, I am an actor and I believe acting is an act and art is universal… I am not a Ghanaian actor; I am an actor from Ghana. So I was there as an actor and this director said he wants me for a film and I said what is it about and he said this is it. "

He might probably mean he is not just an actor meant for Ghanaian movies alone, but also an actor meant to feature in movies anywhere around the globe.
