The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lauded the Osun state House of Assembly for commencing impeachment proceedings against Governor Rauf Aregbesola, describing it as a welcomed development to save the state. The Judge of the state, Justice Oloyede Folahanmi, had earlier petitioned the state House of Assembly asking the members to institute impeachment proceedings against the governor and his deputy over alleged mismanagement of the state's financial resources in accordance with Sections 128 and 129 of the 1999 constitution. Local media said the T-Team skipper collapsed three minutes into the match in Kota Bharu and was taken to hospital. "The driver was at the stands watching the game when Oniya suddenly collapsed and our defender was deprived of oxygen for several minutes." A 29-year-old suspected armourer for robbers, Rasak Adeyinka, has told police in Ogun State that he earned N40,000 each time he kept the guns. The suspect was apprehended at his hideout at Owode in Yewa South Local Government Area of the state recently. As the holy month of Ramadan fast approaches, the leadership of Jama'atu Nasril Islam, the umbrella body of all Islamic organizations in Nigeria, has extended to midnight the time for sighting of the crescent of the new moon. Two students, a male and female of a University in Anambra State (name withheld), have reportedly died in a hostel room located near the school. The female student is from Imo State. She visited her male boyfriend and they went in together on Saturday but never woke up until their doors were forced open by the police after a neighbor raised the alarm. The male student was 300level student of public administration. They allegedly died after s*x romp and their neighbors never knew until their bodies started decomposing.
